Volunteer to be a Speaker or Performer

Valley View Elementary School is hosting International Day on March 3rd, 2025, and this year’s theme is “Stories Bring the World Together.” Through books, videos, presentations, and activities, our students will explore how stories and cultures bring people together.

We want this event to showcase the many different vibrant cultures that make up our diverse community and welcome parents and community members to participate! Whether through volunteering to help with the event on the day, or connecting us to potential speakers and performers, we could really use your help! Maybe you’re a Japanese calligraphy artist, Polynesian dancer, African poet, Puerto Rican musician, Indian author, Indigenous chef, or Chinese artist? Maybe you’re a disability activist, an ASL interpreter, or cultural historian? Maybe you’re an anthropologist with a band? Maybe you would just like to showcase your culture?

If so, please email Jenny at jahn702@gmail.com!
